Music Experience

​

I have over 15 years of live music experience playing in bars, live music venues, and music festivals across Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. I am an extremely versatile guitar player and with a broad exposure to country, blues, funk, rock, and jazz music; having played solo jazz guitar performances, in guitar/bass duos, jazz trio, quartet, quintet, jazz big bands, and contemporary rock bands. 

I also have experience as a private guitar tutor, as well as big band arranger and posses valuable teaching skills as a result of my teaching degree. 
I have previously been under the tuition of Sydney based guitarist Ben Hauptmann and Brisbane based guitarist Travis Jenkins. I have also attended workshops held by international artists such as Julian Lage and Bill Frisell.

Art Experience

​

I am an ambitious up and coming visual artist with experience in drawing, watercolour and acrylic painting, and wildlife photography. I initially began professionally as a photo-realism artists but have more recently been drawn to abstraction and multiple methods of print making.
